Goldenrod is truly striking and I love its structure and texture. I have never loved its effects, however, being one of many who claim they are allergic to it. I was surprised to learn recently that ragweed, which blooms at the same time as the goldenrod, is actually the culprit. My humble apologies to the goldenrod.
Beautiful! That is either Canada or Tall Goldenrod (nearly indistinguishable, may be grades of the same species), but there are actually many other varieties of goldenrod.
