A Bit Of Lip

Most days, it's pretty easy to see what my cats' expressions are saying.  A couple of my cats, however, have favored this exposed gum expression, which has always left me wondering just what they were trying to say.


"Sure,  I'd like to have fresher breath and whiter teeth, but I'm not giving up my cigarettes and tuna."

"It's pretty pointed, but is it enough to earn me the lead role in Vampire Cat?"

"That food stinks!  Mom's been trying to hide the vitamin supplements again."

Pinned

Appearances to the contrary, our kitten is not being pinned down by my daughter's leg.  He's a snuggler and squirmed under her leg, where he laid contentedly, while she did her school work.

Friends

While some people claim that cats and dogs don’t get along, I disagree.  Our pets have always been good friends, who eat, sleep and play together.  We need to give them a little credit.  Many humans fail to live peacefully with their own species!

Getting To Know You

While there may be a slight adjustment period, we've rarely had much trouble introducing a new feline to our family. Our silver tabby, however, took a severe dislike to one addition. We eventually had to find another home for the cat we had rescued. They must have had a personality conflict, since she has been quite accepting of other new arrivals over the years.

Pure Bliss

For months, I have enjoyed reading posts on Awww...Mondays and decided it was time to join in the fun.  This little guy certainly made me say "Awww".  I could almost hear him purr.
