Fields of Corn
Our farm grew two types of corn. One was for human consumption and grew at one end of our large vegetable garden. The other was grown as cow feed and covered large fields.
The corn grew well over the heads of children and we loved the adventurous feeling of traveling through the rows, only able to look up and see the sky. There was no danger of becoming lost, however, as the rows were quite straight and led back home.
