Our foliage was quite drab and disappointing this year. I grew up in Vermont, where the leaves are brilliant every year.
This pic was made available by Vermont Daily, which has a gorgeous archive of Vermont foliage that is free for use and offered in several sizes. I rotate some as my desktop background. That's one way to get a brilliant fall regardless of the view outside my window.
