The Sound Of Music

The clouds are so pretty, though I rather doubt that they are real.  Carrie is attractive, but by most reports, her acting is far from beautiful.

 I’m not sure why that surprised anyone.  Although her voice earned her first place in the 2005 American Idol competition, her closed-eye renditions and deer-in-the-headlights stance didn’t earn my vote.  We opted to watch the Julie Andrews version, while Carrie was making her debut.  I’ve watched a couple of video clips since then.  While the acting is the most notable flaw, Carrie’s singing pales in comparison to Julie.
