Big or small, there's nothing like it. My granddaughter got to ride a float today at our university's Christmas parade. Unlike the sunny photo, however, the temperature was frigid. It had already been postponed twice due to rainy weather. They were concerned about a poor turnout and damage to band instruments, I don't know how much instruments for students cost, but I did know a professional musician, whose bass was valued at more than twenty-thousand dollars. That could surely justify a postponement.
Despite the cold, the event was well attended. Even in the cold, everybody loves a parade.
