Cabbage
The smell of cabbage is not a subtle one. The scent from a large cabbage field is far stronger. Lots of people don't consider it a breath of fresh air, I'm sure. I learned to become quite fond of the scent, when my commute took me past several large fields each day. Compared to the smells of expressway fumes, it was indeed a breath of fresh air. Perspective is everything!

I love to eat cabbage! Every Sunday we have it as part of our vegetable salad and eat it on some other days of the week too. Have a good week.

ReplyDeleteMy late father was a vegetable farmer and cabbage was one of those he planted seasonally. I used to helped him in his farming so I experienced the smell of cabbage a lot.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, the air in a cabbage farm is a lot better to inhale than the pollution in a highway.
I wish I could go to that place! It is so peaceful, and the cabbages are great and healthy! Living in the city is not so appealing to me.
